Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Bring 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
- Have at least 3 years of leadership experience.
- Demonstrate success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Have experience implementing scalable systems and automation in growing organizations.
- Have strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and tax standards.
- Be proficient with Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
- Have experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail; this is preferred.
- An MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, audit-ready financials by the 20th of each month, including full account reconciliation.
- Build and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting across all departments.
- Develop automated systems and workflows to reduce manual reporting time.
- Partner with leadership on initiatives to increase profitability and improve EBITDA.
- Create and document SOPs for close, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting processes.
- Implement systems for expense management, travel, and purchasing.
- Produce financial dashboards and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations on growth, cash flow, and inventory planning.
- Evaluate ERP and reporting technology solutions to prepare the company for scale.
