Requirements
- Bring practical bookkeeping and finance process knowledge, including expense coding, reconciliation and month-end close.
- Understand how accountants, bookkeepers and finance leads work day to day.
- Have a track record working with product teams from defining requirements through to delivery.
- Have experience managing external partners or senior stakeholders and delivering through influence.
- Have hands-on exposure to technology in a finance context, such as configuring accounting or ERP tools, working with integrations or data imports, or collaborating closely with technical teams.
- European accounting and ERP systems experience or an accounting qualification is a plus.
- Partner negotiation experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of APIs, data mapping or implementation projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of accounting integrations and partner relationships, balancing customer needs, partner requests and internal priorities.
- Translate export, reconciliation and month-end close workflows into clear product requirements and integration behaviours.
- Partner with engineers to define data mapping and implementation details across accounting systems, data models and APIs.
- Improve the integration set-up and configuration experience so customers can onboard with fewer issues.
- Make accounting domain decisions that improve data quality and reduce manual work for finance teams.
- Support external partners and ERP vendors building on Pleo’s APIs, aligning expectations, delivery and quality.
- Track and improve export success rate, adoption and activation, and integration-related support volume.
