Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing technical projects, programs, or portfolios.
- Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or similar project management and work-tracking tools.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into tasks, project plans, and deliverables.
- Experience tracking schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and performance.
- Experience preparing project status reports and communicating progress to stakeholders.
- Experience managing resources, staff hours, budgets, or project costs.
- Ability to coordinate technical teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses, data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics programs is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Databricks, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and enterprise reporting solutions is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage data integration projects and enhancement requests for the Aviation Data Analytics Warehouse (ADAW).
- Coordinate project planning, scheduling, task assignments, milestones, and deliverables using Agile practices and Azure DevOps.
- Translate business requirements into actionable tasks and deliverables for the data engineering team.
- Track progress, outcomes, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes, and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the PANYNJ Aviation Department's Manager of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to prioritize work and manage expectations.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, and monitor staff hours, consultant performance, project costs, and resource utilization.
- Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, invoices, and project documentation.
- Establish and maintain program governance, data governance, and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Facilitate communication among technical teams, business stakeholders, and management, and ensure deliverables meet requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
