Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Hold an active New Jersey state teaching license in Math grades 6–12.
- Reside in one of the fifty United States.
- Have experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.
- Be able to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours per day on every instructional day.
- Have hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software.
- Use student performance data to adjust instruction.
- Be able to manage a full student caseload independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day on every scheduled instructional day.
- Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom that supports student participation and achievement.
- Use student performance data to identify learning gaps and adapt instruction.
- Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain accurate records for students and families.
- Build relationships with students and families through proactive professional communication.
- Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to support students.
