Job Details

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Hold an active New Mexico state teaching license in Physics for grades 6–12.
  • Have teaching experience in virtual and/or in-person settings.
  • Be able to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours per instructional day.
  • Have hands-on experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools.
  • Have experience using student performance data to adjust instruction.
  • Be proficient with standard productivity software.
  • Be organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage a full student caseload remotely.
  • Maintain certification and stay current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices.
  • Be willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day on scheduled instructional days.
  • Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom that supports student participation and achievement.
  • Use student performance data to identify learning gaps and adapt instruction.
  • Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate proactively with students and families about learning.
  • Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to support students.
