Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional web development experience with hands-on technical SEO responsibilities.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Have experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production websites.
- Have hands-on experience implementing canonical tags, redirects, structured data, metadata, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt.
- Understand search engine crawling, rendering, and indexing behavior.
- Have experience resolving duplicate content, canonicalization, redirect, and site architecture issues.
- Have experience with international SEO concepts such as hreflang, localization, and multilingual website architecture.
- Understand website performance, Core Web Vitals, and frontend optimization.
- Be familiar with modern web frameworks, content management systems, and Git-based development workflows.
- Have experience with technical SEO and web analysis tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or Sitebulb.
- Be familiar with web analytics platforms and using data to evaluate website and search performance.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, Marketing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, redirects, canonicalization, JavaScript rendering, and Core Web Vitals.
- Monitor website health using Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, PageSpeed Insights, and analytics platforms.
- Identify technical issues affecting organic search performance and coordinate fixes with Development, Design, and Marketing teams.
- Implement SEO requirements across WordPress, including metadata, structured data, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, templates, and page-level optimizations.
- Analyze Keeper content in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI search experiences, and apply GEO recommendations.
- Use scripts, APIs, and automation to streamline audits, reporting, internal linking analysis, and recurring SEO workflows.
- Support international SEO through hreflang implementation, localization coverage, and identification of missing or incorrect translations.
- Validate SEO requirements during launches, migrations, redesigns, and new page development, and monitor production sites for regressions.
- Troubleshoot issues across HTML, CSS, JavaScript, rendering, APIs, and content management systems.
- Document technical SEO standards, development requirements, and recurring audit processes.
