Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's degree completed or in the final year in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Have 0–2 years of applicable experience.
  • Demonstrate strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and window functions against large relational datasets.
  • Have working knowledge of at least one programming language used in data work, such as Python, for scripting, automation, or ETL.
  • Understand relational data models and how CRM and marketing-automation data is structured, including leads, contacts, accounts, campaigns, and opportunities.
  • Be highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a bias toward automating repetitive work.
  • Preferred: Hands-on exposure to Salesforce, including SOQL, reports, campaign objects, or administration concepts, or to Marketo programs, smart campaigns, or field sync.
  • Preferred: Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift and BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted development or analytics tools such as Claude or similar large language model platforms.
  • Preferred: Exposure to ETL/ELT tooling, APIs, or workflow orchestration such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or equivalent scripting.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with marketing funnel metrics or B2B demand generation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines connecting Salesforce, Marketo, and the data warehouse, such as BigQuery.
  • Automate recurring campaign reporting workflows.
  • Write and optimize SQL to build reusable datasets, views, and queries for dashboards and leadership reporting.
  • Strengthen campaign attribution logic, including campaign codes, UTM and campaign member data, and lead-to-opportunity linkage.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data quality across Marketo, Salesforce, and downstream reporting tables.
  • Apply AI tools such as Claude to accelerate data exploration, documentation, and query development while maintaining accuracy in production reporting.
  • Support backend administration and configuration in Salesforce and Marketo, including fields, objects, sync rules, and campaign structures.
  • Document data models, definitions, and processes to support consistent metrics and self-serve marketing reporting.
