Requirements
- Bring deep, hands-on expertise with Prebid.js, including wrapper configuration, bid adapters, and identity, consent, floors, and analytics modules.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the auction lifecycle.
- Have experience with Prebid Server, including stored requests, server-side adapter configuration, and S2S routing.
- Have strong working knowledge of Google Ad Manager, including GPT, line item architecture, key-value targeting, unified pricing rules, and dynamic allocation.
- Have 4+ years of JavaScript development experience and substantial TypeScript experience.
- Have experience with Google Cloud Platform, such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, or BigQuery, for deploying and operating high-throughput services.
- Bring ad tech fluency across OpenRTB, SSP/DSP integrations, identity solutions and EIDs, consent frameworks (TCF/GPP), Amazon TAM/APS, and video (IMA SDK/VAST).
- Have experience with asynchronous programming and understanding of client-server architecture.
- Contribute technical documentation and communication skills.
- Prebid.js or Prebid Server open-source contributions are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Write and ship production code daily, review peers’ pull requests, and partner with engineers to maintain code quality.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on Prebid.js and Prebid Server, including wrapper architecture, bid adapters, and modules.
- Track Prebid releases, OpenRTB changes, and emerging header bidding standards, and recommend platform upgrades.
- Own the header bidding wrapper’s architecture, release cycle, feature evaluation, and design decisions.
- Work with Google Ad Manager, GPT, and the IMA SDK, including GAM line item architecture, key-value targeting, and auction dynamics.
- Maintain client-side JavaScript and TypeScript scripts that run on publisher sites.
- Measure and protect Core Web Vitals, memory usage, script execution time, and network overhead.
- Own deployed solutions, maintain their reliability, and address critical issues.
