Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technology field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Have 5+ years working with public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Bring advanced Linux or open-source knowledge.
- Have expertise in containerization, including Kubernetes.
- Have a solid understanding of cloud networking and security.
- Know infrastructure and configuration as code methodologies.
- Have detailed knowledge of microservices and DevOps.
- Have 3+ years of incident response and major incident management experience.
- Have experience with Docker, Rancher, virtualization, VPN, Kafka, and RDP.
- Have advanced Linux and Windows experience.
- Experience with Confluence/Jira, Nagios, SSO, and SQL is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve time-critical customer issues in the public cloud.
- Perform customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in cloud environments.
- Support automation projects, including writing code.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and manage servers across multiple cloud environments.
- Create, manage, and maintain cloud networking components.
- Perform database and server backups and restores.
- Assist in ensuring security processes are followed and customer data is secured.
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams to resolve issues.
- Suggest process improvements and enhanced operational efficiencies.
