Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for this position.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of direct project management experience.
  • Have experience managing complex and global trials.
  • Have experience in pharmaceutical and/or device research.
  • Have experience in a global, cross-functional project management environment.
  • Use Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs.
  • Have experience with project planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Be able to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Oncology and cell and/or gene therapy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation point for the client.
  • Coordinate functional services and external vendors to meet established timelines and budgets.
  • Manage study budgets, identify out-of-scope activities, and drive change orders to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and proactive risk management and mitigation approaches.
  • Oversee project quality, including eTMF inspection readiness and corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Establish tracking metrics and report progress, key performance indicators, and project issues to clients and senior management.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, set expectations for the project team, and present to colleagues, investigative staff, and clients.
  • Coordinate study-specific training and monitor compliance throughout the project.
  • Support business development activities, including travel to bid defense meetings as required.
