Experience
At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining core banking systems in Profile Scripting Language (PSL), MUMPs

Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining core banking systems using Profile Scripting Language (PSL) and MUMPs.
  • Have experience with the FIS Core Banking Platform.
  • Know financial industry best practices, regulations, and operations, particularly in retail or commercial deposits, loans, and/or debit card processing.
  • Have familiarity with the GT.M Database.
  • Have a bachelor's degree, or provide three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible technology work experience for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum experience required.
  • Automated testing experience (Z-unit) is a nice-to-have.
  • Unix-based application and/or infrastructure support experience is a nice-to-have.
  • Shell scripting (BSH) experience is a nice-to-have.
  • AWS experience with EC2, S3, and CloudWatch is a nice-to-have.
  • Tidal Automation/Scheduler experience is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

  • Code, debug, and maintain applications and program logic in the core banking system using PSL/MUMPs.
  • Maintain, test, and integrate new application components.
  • Support successful deployment of system improvements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Help ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Support projects such as system upgrades and conversions.
