Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical discipline.
- Experience working in highly complex or ambiguous analytical environments.
- Deep SQL expertise and experience designing efficient analytical solutions across large, complex datasets.
- Advanced experience with dbt and data modeling, including scalable, reusable data models.
- Advanced experience with Tableau or comparable BI platforms and scalable reporting and visualization.
- Experience in fintech, consumer lending, or financial services analytics; understanding customer credit, repayment behavior, and product risk dynamics is highly valued.
- Experience leading complex analytical initiatives from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and business impact.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing strategic decisions with evidence-based recommendations.
- Business acumen connecting product analytics to revenue, unit economics, customer retention, and risk.
- Experience establishing analytical standards, shared metrics, or reusable frameworks.
- Experience applying AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to analytics workflows, automation, or self-service capabilities.
- Ability to mentor analysts and strengthen team analytical rigor.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics for new product lines, from opportunity sizing and launch readiness through post-launch performance and iteration.
- Partner with Product, Risk, and Finance leaders to define success metrics, reporting frameworks, and analytical infrastructure.
- Analyze customer eligibility, application, approval, repayment, and retention across new financial products.
- Assess customer overlap, cross-product adoption, portfolio diversification, and unit economics.
- Build market sizing, segmentation, and opportunity analyses to inform investment in new product growth.
- Design and govern reusable data models, shared metrics, and analytical methodologies for new product categories.
- Integrate behavioral, financial, and risk data to analyze product health and customer outcomes.
- Set best practices for dbt modeling, SQL performance, and analytical code quality.
- Synthesize analysis into recommendations for VP- and executive-level stakeholders on product strategy, financial impact, risk, and growth.
- Mentor analysts and review analytical approaches and outputs.
