Requirements
- Hold a BS degree in combination with equivalent medical experience.
- Have 3+ years’ experience in ICU, ECMO, Cath Lab, OR, Transplant, or ED.
- Be highly flexible and willing to support sites as needed within and across North America.
- Be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Have strong problem-solving skills.
- Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with internal and external contacts.
- Have excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
- Be able to work at a fast pace in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Be available for work after business hours, including nights, weekends, and long days, and for on-call support.
- Live within an hour of a major airport.
- A licensed RN, RT, RD, and/or a health science-related degree is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Train and support organ retrieval and transplant teams in using OrganOx metra according to company policies and procedures.
- Provide remote and onsite support while generally on call 24/7 for about 15 days a month, including holidays and weekends.
- Organize site initiation and refresher visits, in-person and remote training sessions, and centralized training events.
- Communicate with transplant teams, internal management, and coworkers.
- Create case study reviews with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Support managers, directors, and other internal staff with assignments when not on call.
- Collect data with liver transplant teams on livers perfused and preserved on metra to build a product-performance and use database.
- Attend local, regional, national, and international meetings and conferences on behalf of OrganOx.
- Maintain positive working relationships with end users and complete administrative tasks related to expenses and communication.
- Follow applicable quality policies and procedures.
