Requirements
- Live in or near the Albany, New York area, ideally within a 30-minute drive; the area includes Schenectady, Troy, and Saratoga Springs.
- Have 2–5 years of experience in business development, partnership development or management, medical sales, or account management.
- Be able to travel locally approximately 4 days per week for partner meetings.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Be able to independently craft and execute outreach strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics, adapt outreach approaches, and work toward objectives.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, and a patient-first or client-first mindset.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Preferred: Experience in the substance use disorder treatment community and existing relationships in that space.
- Preferred: Experience working with clinical staff, healthcare administration staff, and people with opioid use disorders.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and pitch Ophelia to new referral sources, managing partnerships from cold outreach to active partner status.
- Nurture and scale existing partnerships, supporting their clinical and philosophical alignment with Ophelia.
- Track outreach activity, referral-to-patient conversion, and partnership return on investment using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Analyze partner and conversion data to identify effective partner types and adjust weekly outreach strategy.
- Meet with healthcare providers, community leaders, patient advocates, and other local contacts in the field.
- Identify community needs and barriers to treatment, and strengthen Ophelia's local presence.
- Collect and analyze partner feedback to refine referral strategies and develop solutions to referral barriers.
- Collaborate with marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations teams to meet outreach and market penetration goals.
