Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional experience building integrations, automations, or workflow systems.
- Have strong proficiency with low-code/no-code automation platforms such as Tray.ai, n8n, Zapier, or Make.
- Have solid JavaScript skills for integration logic, nodes, and custom functions.
- Have experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication patterns such as OAuth, API keys, and JWT.
- Understand data transformation and formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.
- Have experience with database reads and writes and syncing data across multiple systems.
- Be able to read API documentation, debug integration failures, and troubleshoot complex workflow issues.
- Have experience building event-driven workflows and handling asynchronous processes.
- Be able to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Be self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently across time zones.
- Have upper-intermediate English proficiency and be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: Python scripting, SQL, iPaaS or workflow orchestration platforms, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: Familiarity with freight, logistics, or supply chain systems and terminology.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy integration workflows using low-code tooling and custom JavaScript.
- Create and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
- Develop data pipelines that read from, write to, and sync data across multiple databases and systems.
- Design and test integration flows end-to-end for reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Build and optimize automated workflows that reduce repetitive manual tasks across operations teams.
- Monitor integration health, debug failures, and improve workflows for reliability and cost-efficiency.
- Use AI tools and LLM capabilities where applicable to enhance automation logic, data extraction, and workflow decision-making.
- Collaborate with operations, product, and engineering teams to translate integration needs and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document workflows, create runbooks, and establish best practices for scalable integrations.
- Measure and report integration performance, including error rates, latency, and operational impact.
