Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with subcontract/contract administration or supply chain contracts in a regulated environment.
- Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR and DFAR.
- Ability to operate and negotiate independently.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze contract language and provide summaries to senior staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Access or SharePoint is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, negotiate, and administer assigned NDAs, TAs, subcontracts, and related agreements.
- Participate in capture activities, including pricing and scheduling strategy.
- Communicate with subcontractor teammates about data calls, assess responses, and coordinate communications among subcontract stakeholders.
- Process subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing and terms and conditions, with management assistance and stakeholder input.
- Serve as a liaison between program teams and subcontractors on contracting issues, escalating potential issues to management.
- Coordinate with program managers and matrixed organizations to ensure subcontract requirements are fulfilled.
- Maintain current knowledge of subcontract procedures and practices, and provide guidance or task leadership to less-experienced subcontract administrators.
- Participate in or manage special projects as required.
