- Have 8+ years of experience across web, visual, UI, or digital product design.
- Bring exceptional hands-on craft across UX, typography, interaction, and visual systems.
- Have product storytelling experience, particularly for technical, B2B, developer, data, or product-led companies.
- Think strategically about design and UX and connect creative decisions to audience, narrative, product, and business goals.
- Have a strong eye for motion and interaction.
- Be able to ship production-quality work in HTML, CSS, and React/Next.js.
- Be curious and capable with AI-assisted design and development workflows.
- Operate autonomously and own work from concept through launch.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the design and UX of Hex’s website, documentation site, campaign experiences, and future web surfaces.
- Create crafted digital experiences from concept through shipped execution, maintaining visual quality, patterns, interaction principles, and consistency.
- Design the expression of major product launches and translate complex product capabilities into clear visual stories.
- Develop repeatable storytelling patterns across the homepage, product pages, launches, campaigns, events, and content.
- Create motion, product animations, micro-interactions, transitions, and interactive storytelling experiences.
- Use research, performance signals, experimentation, and design judgment to improve web experiences.
- Take designs into production using HTML, CSS, and React/Next.js, and prototype and ship interactive browser experiences.
- Collaborate with Brand, Content, Product Marketing, Product, and Engineering on web strategy, content planning, and complex work.
- Help establish front-end patterns and workflows that support high-quality, repeatable execution.
