Requirements

Responsibilities
- Write web stories independently or collaboratively on environmental and Great Lakes-related topics.
- Assist with promotional emails, publications, and marketing materials to recruit students for Stone Lab courses.
- Develop educational content for outreach displays on harmful algal blooms, wetlands, aquaculture, and pharmaceuticals in water.
- Collaborate with graphic designers on publication layouts and visual communications materials.
- Write news releases highlighting program research, events, and achievements.
- Create short video scripts for researcher spotlight and YouTube summary videos.
- Develop brochures, fact sheets, posters, and other outreach publications.
- Create social media content showcasing research, education, and community impact.
- Maintain media contact lists and publication databases.
