Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is preferred.
- Experience with virtual consultations and telemedicine is preferred.
- Know medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
- Be proficient in using technology and virtual platforms.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be located in Ocala, FL or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with clients and their families to assess health needs and develop care plans.
- Assist with medication management, including refills and reminders.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as doctors and nurses.
- Monitor and track clients’ vital signs and health status.
- Provide education and support to clients and families on managing chronic conditions and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Communicate regularly with caregivers to support client care.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
