Requirements
- Have experience across the product lifecycle, from PRD creation to implementation.
- Have solid engineering skills in Python.
- Have a strong understanding of data systems, including SQL, schemas, indexing, partitioning, and performance tradeoffs.
- Be comfortable with statistical concepts relevant to model evaluation, or have experience interpreting metrics and distributions.
- Familiarity with pipeline tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect is a plus.
- Familiarity with queues such as Kafka, SQS, or Pub/Sub is a plus.
- Familiarity with data formats such as Parquet and JSON is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure, containers, CI/CD, and basic DevOps practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal teams and partners to scope loosely defined problems.
- Translate problems into structured PRDs and working software.
- Build and maintain internal pricing and decision engines, data apps, and AI-powered workflows.
- Write SQL and Python for analyses, dashboards, and monitoring used by leadership.
- Integrate third-party models, APIs, and data sources into company systems.
- Map, transform, and validate integrated models and data sources.
- Prototype in notebooks and scripts, then develop successful prototypes into reliable, tested production systems.
