Requirements
- Bring 8+ years of experience in a software engineering individual contributor role.
- Have extensive experience or knowledge designing, building, and deploying AI and/or machine learning models.
- Understand model development, training, optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Have hands-on experience developing and managing high-performance back-end systems in distributed computing environments.
- Work across teams to integrate systems with front-end interfaces and third-party services.
- Design and implement secure, scalable APIs, including RESTful APIs or gRPC.
- Profile and optimize back-end performance, particularly in cloud environments or with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Use testing frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and set up CI/CD pipelines.
- Have proficiency with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and deploying services in those environments.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Azure ML, or SageMaker is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to design solutions for deploying models to AWS SageMaker and Azure ML.
- Introduce a Data Science Catalog for discovering and summarizing data science resources within Domino.
- Integrate model monitoring to provide a view of deployment health and performance.
- Enhance tagging across Domino entities to improve discoverability and tracking.
- Expand LLM hosting capabilities to address customer needs for scale, performance, and logging.
