Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Bring at least 2 years of business development or sales experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and convert prospects into long-term partnerships.
- Have strong presentation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
- Have organizational and customer service skills to manage multiple relationships, opportunities, and priorities across a multi-state territory.
- Be comfortable with regular travel across a multi-state territory and frequent face-to-face customer and partner engagement.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information.
- Have experience in specialty pharmacy, the 340B industry, behavioral health, or substance use disorder markets; experience selling into these environments is highly valuable.
- Operate independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with 340B Covered Entities and healthcare organizations to establish pharmacy partnerships and expand territory presence.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase 340B pharmacy relationships, prescription volume, and service adoption.
- Build long-term partnerships by understanding healthcare organizations' operational needs and demonstrating value.
- Develop relationships with hospital systems, FQHCs, rural health centers, STD clinics, behavioral health organizations, and other Covered Entities.
- Represent the organization at national and regional 340B conferences and participate in state and local industry organizations.
- Maintain relationships with prescribers, clinic staff, and healthcare stakeholders through regular in-person engagement and account development.
- Serve as the primary liaison with provider offices during onboarding and coordinate the transition from sale to ongoing account support.
- Collaborate with internal teams on account implementation, handoffs, and customer needs throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Monitor prescription and account volume monthly and engage provider offices when opportunities or issues require attention.
