Requirements
- Have 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Have at least one year of experience building production integrations or connectors against third-party APIs.
- Have experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs, including handling authentication token refresh, pagination, rate limiting, partial failures, and schema drift.
- Be able to interpret third-party API documentation and translate it into a reliable, tested connector.
- Be proficient in Go or Python.
- Be comfortable working in containerized and cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Understand webhook and event-driven integration patterns.
- Consider the needs of the person configuring an integration, including clear error messages, sensible defaults, and useful logs.
- Be able to analyze customer bug reports and identify concrete root causes.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship first-party integration connectors between NodeZero and customer security platforms, including EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and ITSM tools.
- Design integration schemas and data mappings that translate NodeZero findings into each platform's native format.
- Maintain and evolve integrations as third-party APIs change, customer feedback identifies gaps, and new platforms are prioritized.
- Write integration documentation and configuration guides customers can use without contacting support.
- Diagnose and resolve integration failures reported by customers or detected through monitoring.
- Work with the Integrations Platform team to build connectors on shared infrastructure rather than one-off scripts.
