Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience working in HR; experience in a remote setup supporting US companies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with US payroll, such as Gusto, ADP, Rippling, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of US labor laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, workflows, and process documentation.
- Comfort working independently with HRIS platforms and HR technology systems.
- High attention to detail when handling payroll, employee records, and compliance documents.
- Ability to manage confidential employee and financial information professionally.
- Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
- Asana experience for task management and workflow coordination is preferred.
- QuickBooks, ADP, Rippling, or similar accounting software experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet, and other virtual communication platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job postings to candidate screening and interview coordination.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Process and assist with US payroll, benefits administration, and employee record management.
- Respond to employee concerns, HR-related questions, and workplace support needs.
- Maintain HR systems, employee files, compliance documentation, and confidential records.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, company culture programs, and retention efforts.
- Monitor compliance requirements, policy updates, training completion, certifications, and HR documentation.
- Assist leadership with HR projects, process improvements, SOP creation, reporting, and operational support.
- Help create efficient systems or automations to improve employee experience and organizational growth.
