Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent education, training, and/or certification may be substituted for the education and experience shown.
- Chartered Accountant experience is preferred.
- Certifications such as GAAP, USGAAP, or CPA are preferred.
- Fluency in Thai is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting team in maintaining the general ledger and serving internal clients with financial reporting answers and accounting advice.
- Provide leadership, planning, and consultation to subordinates, executives, and peer managers to align department resources with operational priorities.
- Prepare or administer the annual budget and departmental expenses, and ensure deliverables meet department objectives and applicable standards.
- Select, manage, and develop staff through goal-setting, coaching, performance management, and annual reviews.
- Oversee accountants who maintain monthly and annual financials, including preparation or review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Lead analysis of financial activity to identify errors or misclassifications and make corrections.
- Manage preparation and distribution of financial statement reports and related information for decision-making.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the organization's financial general ledger system, including its chart of accounts, functional allocation, fund balances, and segments.
