Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or a master’s degree and 6+ years; additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Hold CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent IAT-2 certification.
- Have experience in a customer-facing position and strong customer service skills.
- Have experience administering Windows and Linux servers and related services.
- Have a strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, and related standards, procedures, and processes.
- Have experience with Ansible, Oracle Console, Elastic, Jira, Confluence, Git, and OCI SaaS offerings.
- Have experience onboarding customer log data from cloud platforms to on-premises or cloud-based analysis environments such as Elastic or Splunk.
- Have an active Secret clearance.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Preferred: experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1, Zero Trust Architecture, and at least 4 years managing or leading teams or projects.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other platforms.
- Develop cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives and technical requirements.
- Manage and optimize Oracle cloud environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, and SQL systems.
- Implement DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, automation frameworks, and DevSecOps tools.
- Design secure cloud architectures using zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies.
- Facilitate customer onboarding and implement a consistent pathway to cloud adoption.
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems.
- Establish and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases and support their performance and reliability.
- Lead architectural reviews, present recommendations to executive leadership, and mentor development teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards.
