Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in cloud infrastructure, backend API development, and distributed systems.
- Have a proven track record building and running production workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
- Have experience building production backend services in Node.js/TypeScript or Python.
- Have experience with modular Terraform for multi-environment enterprise cloud estates.
- Have experience with automated testing, Docker, GitOps workflows, and modern CI/CD tools.
- Have experience integrating enterprise systems, such as ERPs, CRMs, transaction and document workflow systems, or payment gateways.
- Have working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT.
- Maintain architectural documentation, API contracts, and deployment runbooks.
- Preferred: production backend experience with Go.
- Preferred: experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including Cloud SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Firestore, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise Entra ID or Google Workspace federation.
Responsibilities
- Architect, provision, and maintain production-grade GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Cloud Build, including canary and blue-green deployments.
- Implement centralized logging, tracing, and metric alerts using Google Cloud Operations Suite.
- Enforce least-privilege IAM, manage KMS keys and secrets, and apply Cloud Armor policies.
- Develop REST and webhook-driven microservices connecting enterprise platforms.
- Build bi-directional API synchronizations for Dynamics 365, CRM, transaction, and identity systems.
- Design caching and event-streaming patterns using Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and Memorystore.
- Migrate legacy application workflows into the native GCP serverless environment.
- Maintain runbooks and documentation, provide partner code review, and share on-call coverage.
