Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including ownership of a complex, multi-department organization.
  • Active Salesforce certification, such as Platform Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Flow, security and sharing models, reports and dashboards, and data management tools.
  • Experience leading requirements gathering, solution design, and releases from start to finish.
  • Ability to document requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes.
  • Project management skills, including planning and tracking, and identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Preferred: Experience with Certinia, especially PSA, resource management, timecards, and billing.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting a professional services organization and building dashboards with Tableau or Tableau CRM / CRM Analytics.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with REST APIs, middleware, and working knowledge of Apex or LWC.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead Salesforce administrator and subject-matter expert, overseeing security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, and org-wide configuration.
  • Partner with business leaders to prioritize enhancements and build a Salesforce roadmap.
  • Translate business requirements into solutions using custom objects, Flow, approval processes, validation rules, and Lightning pages.
  • Configure and optimize the professional services lifecycle from opportunity through project, resource assignment, timecards, approvals, and invoicing.
  • Support Certinia PSA and related modules, aligning projects, milestones, resource management, timecards, expenses, and billing events with Finance and Resource Management processes.
  • Establish standards for change management, naming conventions, documentation, sandbox strategy, and release management.
  • Lead data quality, deduplication, migrations, and integrity initiatives; manage large-volume data operations with Data Loader or similar tools.
  • Build executive reports and dashboards covering pipeline, utilization, bench, backlog, project margin, and billing.
  • Coordinate integrations with IT and implementation partners, evaluate and administer AppExchange packages, and lead user training and support escalation.
