Requirements
- Have hands-on experience building production software with FHIR and HL7.
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Have experience with Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Have experience writing SQL queries in Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or other database systems.
- Be comfortable cleaning, normalizing, and improving data quality.
- Be able to create and call RESTful APIs.
- Have experience working with cloud services such as GCP or AWS.
- gRPC experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production software that implements healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7.
- Develop and test APIs, services, and data pipelines that work with FHIR resources and HL7 messages.
- Translate standards and implementation guides into code, data models, validation logic, and automated tests.
- Preserve clinical meaning and data quality as information moves between systems.
- Learn and apply new tools and technologies to solve problems.
- Help define and maintain development practices, including writing tests and documenting key implementations.
- Work with Product Managers and operational staff to develop new features.
