Requirements
- Have 8+ years of professional technical experience.
- Have 4+ years of hands-on Data Architecture and Data Modelling experience.
- Have 4+ years of experience building highly scalable data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Have experience programming with Python.
- Have 2+ years of experience working in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Bring strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems.
- Create automated batch and streaming pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data into analytical platforms.
- Implement applications using Kinesis, Lambda, and other cloud-native tools for streaming use cases.
- Engineer and support SQL and NoSQL data structures.
- Engineer and maintain ELT processes for loading data lakes, including Snowflake, Cloud Storage, and Hadoop.
- Build APIs that return data from data structures to enterprise applications.
- Select tools to deliver testable, maintainable, modern data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer and team challenges.
- Estimate and deliver work with scrum team members within a sprint.
- Research data questions, identify root causes, and work with business users and technical resources.
