Requirements
- Have 2+ years of commercial experience in Node.js.
- Have AWS experience sufficient to debug applications, including services such as Cognito, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, or Lambda.
- Understand JavaScript (at least ES 2018), object-oriented programming, clean code, and best practices.
- Have experience with at least one Node.js backend framework, such as Express.js, Koa.js, or another framework.
- Have worked on at least one or two projects using a Node.js backend framework.
- Have experience with relational SQL databases, including integration and basic design.
- Have experience with ORM or query-builder tools such as Sequelize or Knex.
- Have English proficiency at C1 for client communication, documentation, and work tasks.
- Have Polish proficiency at C1 to communicate within the team.
- Nice to have: experience with Docker, TypeScript, serverless technologies, support roles, or process automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Make.
Responsibilities
- Gather issue reports from clients and troubleshoot during afternoon/evening hours.
- Review error-tracking tools, infrastructure, and third-party connections, and debug them as needed.
- Prioritize requests and bugs and resolve ongoing client requests.
- Write readable, maintainable JavaScript code.
- Find ways to improve the product and fix issues.
- Participate in designing and modifying basic database structures.
- Document delivered code and solutions.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into solutions, results, and estimates with the team.
- Improve and reuse the company knowledge base.
