Have at least 2 years of experience in technical or customer support roles.
Have experience with Linux.
Hold a college diploma in computer science, engineering, networking, or a related field.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to respond to changing situations and work effectively under pressure.
Be dedicated to delivering customer service and willing to learn software and hardware products.
Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Be willing to travel to customer sites as needed, typically up to 10% per year.
Be open to attending internal training at the company's headquarters in Canada.
Python and JavaScript familiarity are preferred.
Understanding of network technologies, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, and switches, is an additional qualification.

Respond to customers and provide technical direction on operational issues, firmware upgrades, and general system maintenance.
Assess customer applications and diagnose issues through research or issue replication to determine root causes.
Recommend timely, clear solutions using technical language appropriate to the customer.
Partner with other Evertz departments to resolve customer issues and communicate status and progress.
Develop and set up tools, author customer guides, and provide technical information to the technical writing group.
Participate in on-call duty.
