Requirements
- At least 8 years of progressive program and/or project management experience, with increasing responsibility in a complex, matrixed organization, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- At least 3 years of management or leadership experience.
- Experience in strategic planning, governance development, program oversight, and executive stakeholder management.
- Experience managing budgets, performance metrics, organizational change, and complex initiatives in highly matrixed or regulated environments.
- Understanding of managed care operations, healthcare delivery systems, or related healthcare industries.
- Operational process improvement and project management capabilities.
- Data analysis skills, including interpreting performance information and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
- Verbal, written, and presentation communication skills for work with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable business tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.
- Experience with claims and provider contract configuration, claims processing, Washington Medicaid, and/or encounter data validation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design, implementation, delivery, and ongoing operations of assigned healthcare programs and services.
- Develop and maintain governance structures, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with executive sponsors, senior leaders, and stakeholders to establish program objectives, priorities, milestones, and success criteria.
- Manage the program portfolio, budgets, resources, and priorities in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Provide executive reporting and insights on program performance, risks, dependencies, financial considerations, and outcomes.
- Lead financial planning and budget oversight, identifying opportunities to optimize resources and generate cost savings.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, IT, and operational teams to maintain governance, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead change management and stakeholder adoption for new processes, technologies, and operating models.
- Evaluate performance metrics, workflows, and operating practices to identify opportunities for efficiency and scalability.
- Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to team members while managing multiple initiatives.
