Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Have 7+ years of loan servicing experience, including commercial loan servicing experience.
  • Have previous leadership or people-management experience.
  • Bring strong knowledge of banking and loan operations, servicing practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage high-volume operations while balancing speed, accuracy, attention to detail, and service quality.
  • Maintain effective systems, documentation, checklists, and workflows using strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Use an analytical, technology-oriented approach and learn new tools quickly.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges, mitigate operational slowdowns, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Work collaboratively, share ideas, and contribute to broader organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate ownership and a track record of delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee loan servicing from onboarding through payoff, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent operations.
  • Manage payment processing, escrow activities, data integrity, documentation, and other core servicing functions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and operational trends, then implement improvements to efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Resolve complex servicing issues while maintaining a strong focus on borrower experience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory servicing requirements, internal policies, and established controls.
  • Lead audits, reporting, documentation reviews, and risk-management activities.
  • Coach, support, and develop the servicing team.
  • Use data and technology to identify process optimization and operational innovation opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve servicing strategies, borrower outcomes, and operational performance.
  • Complete required compliance and IT training, follow policies and procedures, and remain attentive to suspicious activity or potential fraud.
