Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related field, including complex AR operations.
- Bring extensive experience with NetSuite ERP and SuiteBilling; this experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to collections.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Tesorio, Gmail, and Stripe is a plus.
- Bring familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription billing; this is preferred.
- Be comfortable adopting AI and automation tools.
- Be able to complete required federal, state, and county background checks and local in-person verification.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts receivable, including invoicing for new business, expansions, contract changes, renewals, multi-year agreements, and overages.
- Execute customer-focused collection strategies using NetSuite and Tesorio.
- Apply and post ACH, wire, credit card, and Stripe payments, and resolve unapplied cash, chargebacks, and short payments.
- Prepare credit and debit memos and manage customer credit monitoring, holds, and limits.
- Analyze AR aging, collection performance, trends, and key metrics to identify opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce financial risk.
- Support month-end and year-end close, including billing finalization and AR reconciliations.
- Use NetSuite and SuiteBilling to run billing operations, troubleshoot issues, and support system enhancements and process improvements.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and billing documentation; support SOX controls and testing.
- Use AI and automation tools to streamline AR workflows, collections, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Sales Operations, and other teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
