Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, customization, and platform implementation.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Understand Salesforce architecture, data models, security models, and platform best practices.
- Have experience with Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs and integrations with external applications.
- Have strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL.
- Have experience with Salesforce Flows, triggers, and automation capabilities.
- Have experience with Experience Cloud.
- Hold Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Have experience managing complex Salesforce security models and maintaining data integrity.
- Have experience with GitHub, sandbox management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Provide a publicly accessible Trailhead profile showing Salesforce certifications.
- Preferred: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer certification.
- Preferred: experience with Salesforce Education Cloud, OmniStudio, MuleSoft or similar integration tools, and Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications, integrations, workflows, and solutions, focusing on Education Cloud capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship through guidance, code reviews, architecture standards, and development best practices.
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and other platform components to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and OmniStudio components.
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Develop unit tests, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain reliable deliverables.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation for Salesforce configurations, customizations, integrations, and technical processes.
- Manage Salesforce sandboxes, source control, GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
- Support data integrity and complex security models, and improve platform performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
