Job Details

Have senior-level engineering experience owning complex production systems end-to-end, including architecture, reliability, deployment, and integrations.
Bring a background as a backend engineer, software architect, or similarly experienced technical individual contributor.
Have extensive hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or comparable tools as a primary part of daily development.
Show strong interest in agentic software development and continuously learn about new tools, techniques, and workflows.
Demonstrate ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset, independently determining what needs to be done and driving work through to results.
Be able to inspect, challenge, debug, and improve AI-generated code and technical solutions.
Maintain high standards for engineering quality, reliability, testing, and production readiness.
Have experience working with complex integrations and external service providers.
Be comfortable with ambiguity and taking responsibility for technical and product decisions without detailed specifications.
Bring a product mindset and connect technical decisions to user and business outcomes.
Be comfortable working as a hands-on individual contributor; the position does not involve people management.
Have strong English communication skills and be able to collaborate with a distributed international team.

Own product features from problem definition through development, testing, deployment, and production.
Identify what needs to be built and drive initiatives forward without relying on detailed specifications.
Work with external partners and service providers to obtain sandbox access, review documentation, and agree on integration requirements.
Use AI agents to create product and technical specifications while retaining ownership of their quality and accuracy.
Delegate development tasks to AI agents and critically review their output in a complex production codebase.
Evaluate AI-generated implementations, identify weaknesses, and select or refine technical solutions.
Test and validate features, especially systems handling financial transactions.
Take responsibility for architecture, integrations, deployment, reliability, and production readiness.
Contribute to improving AI-first development processes and explore agentic development practices.
