Requirements
- Have 6–8 years of overall Product Management experience.
- Have at least 1 year of experience managing and developing a team.
- Bring a strong technical background and familiarity with data modeling, analytics tools, data products, and modern software development practices.
- Be proficient in SQL and JIRA.
- Understand the software product development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Have experience working directly with clients, managing escalations, communicating complex topics clearly, and building strong relationships.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in ambiguous or evolving environments.
- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to balance customer needs, product priorities, technical considerations, and business outcomes.
- Have experience working with healthcare datasets, such as electronic health record or claims data.
- Be based in the United States; the role is not eligible for sponsorship.
- Experience developing or managing data products is highly desirable.
- Prior startup experience is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of the data product.
- Lead product discovery and delivery, including customer discovery, requirements gathering, PRD development, and engineering coordination.
- Use AI and technical investigation techniques to explore the codebase and support product discovery and decision-making.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities and recommend approaches based on customer needs, technical considerations, and business priorities.
- Plan releases, manage dependencies, coordinate launches, and support feature rollouts with engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate product updates, priorities, progress, risks, and upcoming changes across the organization.
- Work directly with clients to understand needs, resolve escalations, and ground product decisions in customer outcomes.
- Develop monthly, pod-level quarterly, and product-level roadmaps aligned with strategic priorities.
- Identify cross-product dependencies and bring them to the broader product organization for discussion and resolution.
- Lead and develop direct reports, facilitate Scrum processes, and contribute to the software development lifecycle.
