Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 7 years of experience in program delivery, governance, project management, audit, healthcare quality, Stars, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with budgets, financial resources, or operating expenses.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex initiatives, and support organizational change.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Experience presenting to large groups and engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, including managing multiple initiatives and changing requirements.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively communicate risks, changes, and escalation needs.
- Ability to work remotely from a dedicated, interruption-free workspace that supports protection of confidential health information.
- Reliable internet connectivity; at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds are recommended.
- Availability to work a standard 40-hour workweek and travel occasionally for meetings or training.
- Preferred: Knowledge or experience in Medicare Stars, risk adjustment, provider operations, or healthcare quality.
- Preferred: PMP or CAPM certification; Lean or Six Sigma certification.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously enhance governance processes, structures, and meeting forums designed to improve quality and Stars performance.
- Design and maintain governance mechanisms aligned with organizational objectives, regulatory expectations, and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate with finance partners to organize and support Stars operating expense and administrative budgets.
- Lead governance meetings, facilitate decision-making, and document and communicate outcomes, decisions, and action items.
- Analyze program and governance results, identify trends and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Advise executives and senior leaders on governance matters and contribute to functional and segment-level strategy development.
- Implement governance improvements, monitor their effectiveness, and adapt processes as priorities evolve.
- Collaborate across business units to promote alignment, accountability, and sharing of effective governance practices.
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to healthcare quality, governance, and Stars program management.
- Manage priorities, agendas, stakeholder participation, and leadership action items across multiple initiatives.
