Requirements
- Have 2+ years of professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
- Have a solid understanding of web development frameworks such as React, Next.js, Express, or Flask.
- Be able to debug real-world codebases and student submissions.
- Have experience with Git/GitHub.
- Have strong troubleshooting and issue-reproduction skills.
- Be able to write clear instructional documentation.
- Be familiar with Docker-based development environments.
- Understand modern build systems and package managers.
- Android Developer Certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Apple Developer ecosystem familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, PyTest, Mocha, or XCTest is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze course performance, lesson ratings, and learner feedback to identify content needing updates.
- Review and prioritize student feedback.
- Update written content, code examples, screenshots, and demonstrations to reflect current frameworks, SDKs, and tooling.
- Update starter code, dependencies, and package versions, and migrate workspaces and exercises to newer runtime environments.
- Fix broken code templates, build failures, environment issues, and incorrect instructions.
- Reproduce and resolve bugs reported by students in labs and exercises.
- Validate workspace behavior, code execution, and automated test systems.
- Create, update, and optimize Docker images; maintain Dockerfiles, Makefiles, entrypoint scripts, and Linux setup scripts.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot programming runtimes, Linux packages, dependencies, and build tools.
- Configure and maintain VS Code Web, Jupyter, terminal-based, and Kubernetes-compatible programming workspaces.
