Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of professional experience in a data-related role, such as Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or BI Developer.
- Understand data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and basic statistics.
- Be able to write and optimize SQL queries.
- Be able to build and interpret data visualizations and dashboards.
- Have hands-on experience with Python for data, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, visualization libraries, and basic machine learning, and/or R for data analysis.
- Be familiar with at least one BI or visualization tool, such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Be familiar with foundational AWS or Azure data services, including storage, data warehouses, and basic compute.
- Be familiar with Docker and notebook-based workflows such as Jupyter.
- Have experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
- Be able to debug and update Python- and SQL-based exercises and projects.
- Have strong troubleshooting skills for environment mismatches, package conflicts, SQL errors, and visualization failures.
- Be able to write technical documentation and high-quality instructional materials with clear, step-by-step instructions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze course performance metrics, including lesson ratings, pass rates, and qualitative feedback, to identify content requiring updates.
- Review student feedback at scale and prioritize actionable improvements.
- Update classroom instructions to reflect current data tools, cloud interfaces, and library behavior.
- Debug and update Python, SQL, and occasional R code in notebooks, workspaces, and exercises.
- Fix broken queries, incorrect visualizations, outdated screenshots, and mismatched expected outputs.
- Refresh tutorials, exercises, projects, rubrics, starter code, and data sets to reflect current tools and workflows.
- Update Udacity Workspaces using the self-service Studio tool and validate updated Python and R packages.
- Test Cloud Labs and verify that required cloud services are enabled and configured.
- Troubleshoot student access and permission issues in AWS and Azure federated accounts, including data access, IAM/RBAC, and resource usage.
