Requirements
- Have 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the travel industry or related sectors.
- Demonstrate a track record of entering new markets and driving revenue growth.
- Have experience setting hypotheses and running experiments to validate market opportunities.
- Have a strong understanding of B2B sales principles, strategies, and scalable sales processes.
- Be proficient with CRM software; Pipedrive is preferred.
- Be fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
- Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- An existing network within the travel industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities in the travel agency sector in Dutch and international markets.
- Test hypotheses and validate market needs and new market opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to enter the travel agency market.
- Adapt existing B2B products or develop new solutions for new clients.
- Generate and qualify leads through outreach and networking.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, present proposals, and close deals with travel agencies.
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities and drive sales growth in the new segment.
- Design scalable sales processes tailored to travel agencies and collaborate with other teams.
- Maintain CRM records and report on performance, metrics, and progress toward goals.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
