Requirements
- Have sold a financial, advisory, or capital-markets service to founders or executives.
- Be able to discuss a deal you won.
- Read a company's revenue, burn, runway, round structure, and committed capital quickly and know what questions to ask.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and know your conversion rates.
- Set realistic expectations and avoid overselling or promising an outcome.
- Handle price and fit objections directly and without pressure.
- Use AI tools daily and exercise judgment about where they improve work and where they could compromise its quality.
- Work hours that overlap US Eastern time.
Responsibilities
- Run first calls with founders who are raising and assess whether Pairs can help.
- Evaluate companies quickly, including their revenue, burn, and round structure.
- Qualify who is raising, who makes decisions, and what the raise needs.
- Present Pairs' process and fees clearly when there is a fit.
- Book the next step on the call and provide a written read for the person running it.
- Run demos and close sales for founders better served by the platform tier.
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and follow up with founders until there is a clear outcome.
- Set expectations accurately and avoid promising outcomes.
