Requirements
- Have sold a financial, advisory, or capital-markets service to founders or executives.
- Be able to discuss a deal you won.
- Quickly assess company revenue, burn, runway, round structure, and committed capital.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and know your conversion rates.
- Set expectations accurately and avoid promising outcomes.
- Handle objections about price and fit directly without applying pressure.
- Use AI tools daily and exercise judgment about where they improve work and where they may compromise quality.
Responsibilities
- Run first calls with founders who are raising.
- Assess each company's business and identify what may be holding its raise back.
- Evaluate whether Pairs can help move the raise forward.
- Present the process and fees clearly and book the next step during the call.
- Close platform-tier sales by running product demos.
- Qualify who is raising, who makes the decision, and what the raise needs.
- Write a clear assessment for the person handling the next step.
- Log founder conversations accurately and follow up until each has a clear outcome.
