Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical or commercial discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of progressive B2B sales, sales management, business development, commercial leadership, or related experience in relevant markets.
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies that deliver profitable growth, customer penetration, and sustainable revenue performance.
- Experience leading direct sales teams and/or indirect channels, including distributors, manufacturer representatives, agents, or regional sales resources.
- Experience with technical selling, application-driven customer needs, value-based proposals, negotiation, pricing, and customer relationship management.
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, CRM discipline, account planning, sales metrics, and financial reporting.
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams, developing talent, setting expectations, and driving accountability.
- Ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders, major OEM customers, technical stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, CRM systems, AI, and business reporting tools.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans for NCC and VIS orders, sales, margin, and share-growth objectives.
- Lead major account planning, including customer segmentation, opportunity prioritization, stakeholder mapping, executive engagement, and account-level action plans.
- Identify opportunities in core and adjacent markets, including OEM accounts, geographic expansion, aftermarket programs, major customer platforms, and new products.
- Evaluate distributor and sales representative performance, coverage, agreements, and incentive structures.
- Own sales and orders forecasting by customer, program, item, and market segment.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, quote, backlog, forecast, customer, and activity data using CRM, Oracle, Power BI, and related reporting tools.
- Develop and monitor sales performance metrics, including forecast accuracy, pipeline conversion, price realization, and margin performance.
- Partner with finance, product management, operations, and customer service on cost drivers, backlog exposure, pricing, and gross-margin impacts.
- Work with product management and engineering to translate customer needs into commercial requirements, application priorities, pursuit strategies, and value propositions.
- Hire, develop, motivate, and coach sales, customer service, and commercial team members as assigned.
