Requirements

  • Hold an MD or DO degree.
  • Be board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Have active, unrestricted medical license(s) in the United States.
  • Have at least 3 years of post-residency experience.
  • Maintain a clean license record with no disciplinary or reprimand actions.
  • Not be opted out of Medicare and have no exclusions.
  • Provide a reliable remote setup with strong internet, a quiet professional space, and a computer with a camera.
  • Telehealth experience is preferred.
  • Licensure in North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Illinois, or Ohio is strongly preferred.
  • Licensure in Texas, Florida, California, or Georgia is preferred.
  • IMLC eligibility and existing Medicare (PECOS) enrollment are pluses.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 30-minute new-patient telehealth visits with Medicare patients, primarily by video and by phone when needed.
  • Review each patient's medical history and medications using the provided medical records.
  • Assess patients and develop care plans.
  • Place orders and referrals, including for durable medical equipment when indicated.
  • Review patients' care plans and care advocates' logged hours each month.
  • Provide clinical oversight to support patients' health and social situations.
  • Document visits in the Healthie EHR using the provided templates.
