Requirements
- Be a board-certified psychiatrist with active clinical experience.
- Hold an active, unrestricted medical license in one or more of these priority states: Virginia, Texas, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina.
- Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.
- Experience supervising or collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners is preferred.
- Be comfortable prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law.
- Be skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver virtual care.
- Provide timely consultation support.
- Have a required medical license.
Responsibilities
- Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients via telemedicine.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, including prescribing medication when clinically appropriate.
- Supervise and oversee Nurse Practitioners in states requiring collaborative agreements.
- Complete required chart reviews and provide timely consultation support to Nurse Practitioners.
- Maintain responsiveness for collaboration duties in accordance with state requirements and UpLift standards.
- Coordinate care with UpLift’s network of therapists and other providers.
- Provide evidence-based care while upholding UpLift’s clinical and service standards.
- Share product and workflow feedback with UpLift’s engineering and operations teams.
