- Experience
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
Requirements
- Hold a current medical license in the District of Columbia.
- Be willing and able to obtain additional state licensure, including in Maryland and Virginia, and complete credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care.
- Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
- Be board certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within one year of starting at One Medical.
- Have practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Have experience or a strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery.
- Demonstrate the ability to build and sustain patient relationships in a virtual setting.
- Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
- Be able to use technology to deliver care and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual visits for acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care needs.
- Establish patient relationships to support continuity of care.
- Coordinate comprehensive care with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians.
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and continuous learning.
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues on a virtual care team.
- Contribute to developing and refining virtual panel-building workflows and best practices.
