Requirements
- Have previous professional experience as a Video Editor.
- Have strong experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Have experience editing content for Facebook and Instagram.
- Paid-ad or direct-response video-editing experience is highly preferred.
- Understand pacing, hooks, storytelling, captions, and attention-grabbing visuals.
- Be able to work with different video formats and aspect ratios for social media.
- Pay strong attention to detail and follow brand guidelines.
- Be comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions quickly.
- Be able to manage multiple video projects and deadlines.
- Be reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience editing e-commerce or product-focused paid ads is a plus.
- Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, or Canva is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Create videos for Facebook and Instagram paid ads, social media, and other marketing campaigns.
- Turn raw footage into polished videos that match the brand’s style.
- Add captions, graphics, music, sound effects, transitions, and other visual elements as needed.
- Create video variations to test different hooks, messaging, or creative approaches.
- Work with the marketing team to understand campaign goals and creative direction.
- Revise videos based on feedback and deliver them within agreed timelines.
- Organize project files, footage, and creative assets.
- Apply learnings from successful ad creatives to help improve video performance.
- Stay updated on social media video trends, formats, and editing styles.
