Requirements
- Have 5+ years of Product Management experience on developer tools, or equivalent depth as an ex-founder.
- Have shipped standards-based authentication or identity products.
- Have owned OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, sessions, or token design.
- Be comfortable commenting on architecture documents and following design discussions.
- Be able to advocate for users when trade-offs are required.
- Work comfortably with corporate buyers and developers, including CISO security reviews and developer bug reports.
- Be comfortable with Postgres and familiar with row-level security.
- Work asynchronously by default and make decisions in writing.
Responsibilities
- Own the problem statements, solution rationale, and roadmap for Supabase Auth.
- Work with Engineering and Design to shape the developer experience for prioritized problems.
- Define how Auth works for AI agents that sign users up, act on their behalf, and call APIs.
- Use data to understand how developers use Auth features, where they succeed or get stuck, and what to tackle first.
- Keep Engineering, Design, and GTM aligned on what is coming, why, and in what order.
- Collaborate with customers ranging from indie developers and startups to SaaS teams and enterprises.
